Bat Walk – 5th September

Dear Friends,

I am delighted to tell you that my good friend Martyn, aka “Batman“, is once again happy to be assisting with walks and talking about those magnificent and poorly understood creatures: BATS! I have led many walks with Martyn’s expert support and guidance and I guarantee you will learn a huge amount. Aswell as enjoying a beautiful countryside walk in the evening, we will look at all forms of wildlife and nature whilst “detecting“ for the appearance of the bats. We will learn how to identify, provide for and perhaps fall in love with these amazing animals!

Times: Sunday 5th September. Meet at 7pm and return around 9.30 (although you can obviously make your way back earlier if needed or, indeed, stay later! ☺)

Location: Priory Ln, Frensham, Farnham GU10 3BT

Dress Code/Kit: Warm clothing with a waterproof coat is advisable. Bring binoculars as they are still very useful in low light. By all means bring a torch but PLEASE only use sparingly! Definately bring cameras – evening photography is a real challenge but there can be great sunsets and wildlife sightings!

Water and survival rations are always advised!!

Payment: £15 pp which includes a donation towards Martyn’s Bat Conservation Group/s!

Please book your place on this walk beforehand, particularly because if the weather is rainy with a lot of wind I will postpone the walk and will need to let you know!!

BOOKING: Please click here to email me with the number of tickets you wish to purchase and I will create a custom PayPal link for you to transfer the funds!
